Reflection on Project 2
Throughout the project 2, I have learnt to apply the inferential statistics approaches into the data analysis process. From my opinion, inferential statistics is crucial in statistics perspective as it will help the investigator to explain the scenario and assist to make a proper and accurate estimation based on the scenario. In the project 2, the dataset that we have obtained was related with the decision of students to go to the college in Indonesia and I was responsible to conduct the one sample hypothesis testing on the dataset. Since the dataset contains large number of responses, hence RStudio Statistical Tool was used to do the hypothesis testing. During this time, I had referred to the lecture slide and also Internet resources to develop the solution. Not only that, I was also opened to listen to the opinion from my groupmates during the group discussion on Google Meet and Whatsapp. In the end of the project, I found out that the students' parent in the dataset was having a higher monthly income than the ordinary Indonesian worker. As a whole, I am glad that I have understood how to apply the inferential statistics approaches into the data analysis process appropriately with the assistance of RStudio Statistical Tool and I hope that I could utilize the knowledge I gained from this project in the future.
