Excel 03 (Packet Tracer Workshop)

The Packet Tracer Workshop was an event organized by PERSAKA UTM. The objective of this event was to strengthen students' knowledge of using Cisco Packet Tracer.

The event started with the introductory speech of the event instructor, Mr. Iskandar Zulqarnain, who is a Year 4 SECRH student. Afterward, the event continued with the guidance of Packet Tracer. The workshop has guided the students on the installation of Packet Tracer from the Netacad website, designing of topology, and the configuration commands (initial startup configuration, IP assigning, and security configuration).

Before the event ended, the participant was tasked to design a simple topology and configure the network with the commands. End-of-end connectivity between the hosts was used to determine the task completion of the participant.

The packet tracer workshop for beginners was an eye-opening experience. I learned about computer networks and how to set up devices using the Packet Tracer software. The workshop was hands-on, with helpful instructors guiding us through the process. I now have a better understanding of networking and feel more confident in configuring network devices. This workshop gave me a strong foundation for future networking activity.
