Excel 02 (BYIC UTM OPENING CEREMONY BISC 2023)

In this event, Bursa Young Investor Club UTM partnered with Aminvestment Bank to provide a trading workshop with practical knowledge and skills necessary to trade successfully. The trading workshop starts with a briefing of the fundamental knowledge of the Bursa inter-Varsity Stock Challenge (objective, benefits, procedure, trading platform, judging criteria, and prize pool distribution) from the President of the Bursa Young Investor Club.

Afterward, the event was followed by a representative from Aminvestment Bank. The representative has offered the participants to create a CDS account free of charge. The representative also informed that stock traders who wish to trade in securities listed on Bursa Malaysia must open CDS accounts. After the successful creation of the CDS account, the virtual money worth 100,000 ringgit will be given to the participants to trade in the platform with the real-time stock market. The participant group with the highest ROI value (Return on Investment) will be selected as the winner.

Attending the opening ceremony of the Bursa inter-Varsity Stock Challenge was a fantastic experience that provided me with valuable insights. The event began with the opportunity to open a free CDS account with Ambank, which allowed me to explore the world of trading. Additionally, I gained fundamental knowledge about the trading process, learning about stocks, market trends, and risk management. This event served as a stepping stone for me to enter the world of trading, equipping me with the necessary tools and knowledge to navigate the stock market effectively.
