Subject: Thinking of Science and Technology
Lecturer: Puan Corrienna binti Abdul Talib
In this subject, I learned the history and the progression of science and technology. It tells us to be cherish the contribution of great person to the science and technology. Also, we have to make improvement to current science and technology.
Synopsis and Reviews on Thinking of Science and Technology
Thinking of Science and Technology is a course that related to the science and technology development.
In this course I able to learn:
- The relationship between human, science and technology.
- The contribution of great people on the science and technology
- Appreciated the science and technology nowadays\
- The proper way to used these technology
From this subject, I learned to have a positive attitude to make use of technology. Also, it is important for us to appreciate the contribution by others to science and technology area.

Week 1 - Introduce the Courses Outline, Forming Group and Leader
In the first day of lecture, we have a small task on lecture section. All of students are instructed to write their expectation and recommendation on class lecture. This make the course involve more participation of students. Dr Corrienna binti Abdul Talib introduced the course syllabus to us so that we can be prepared before coming to the lecture. After the introduction of course, we have to form a group for the assessment and choose leader of our class. Finally, I became the members of group 2 and we nominate Lee Huey Min as our class leader.
Week 6 - Interesting Video Sharing
In week 6, we have a interesting video sharing section!
This video sharing section is actually related to our course. Each group have to find out a video which related to Chapter 5 of our course, which is Pemikiran Sains dan Teknologi Merentas Sempadan. I feel interesting of this video sharing section, because all of group's members present and share their information to the class in this section.
Week 10 - Attending to Seminar
In week 10, all students who take the course Thinking of Science and Technology will be attend to seminar held in DSI. We were instructed to listen to the talk of Associate Professor Dr Norma Alias who give a speech with topic Industrial Revolution. AP Dr Norma Alias mentioned about the trend in Industrial Revolution 4.0 such as analysis of big data.
After the seminar, we have to write a report and submit to the lecturer. In this seminar. we gain new information about the development of technology nowadays and it will be useful for us to find a direction to study in the future.
Reflection on Video Project
Our project in Thinking of Science and Technology is video creating and editing. The title of our video is Plastic Surgery which mentioned about the issue of plastic surgery with religion. In the process of creating video, we have to discuss with our group members the content of the video and create a storyboard. It is time consuming, but the effort worth because we learn to be cooperate among team members. Finally, our interesting video completed!

Week 11 - Presentation of Video Storyboard
Before we creating out video, we have to plan the content of the video. In week 11, we present our video storyboard to Dr Corrienna binti Abdul Talib. Dr Corrienna binti Abdul Talib gave us some suggestion so that we can improve our video content.
In this section, I learned to be cooperate with team members to plan the content of the video and be humble to accept the suggestion from others.
