Justification in joining the activity is to contribute to the society. In this activity, I volunteered as the participant to clean up the my school, School of Computing. I thought that a clean environment able to assist and help students' learning process.
The graduate attributes that are focused in this activity is communication skill, leadership and teamworking, and global citizen. In this activity, I learned to communicate with my team as a clear instruction and task distribution required for effective cleaning work. Also, this activity able to train my leadership and teamworking as I need to plan the cleaning task and process, then assigned to my team. I learned to have global citizen attribute, it is important to contribute to our society as it gives us a lot of benefit.
The contents of activity include sweeping the floor, cleaning the window, cleaning the dead leaves around School of Computing and also painting the wall in the school.
Self-reflection
In this activity, I able to develop graduate attributes such as communication skills, leadership and teamworking, and as a global citizen. In aspect of the communication skill, I learned to communicate with the people that I not familiar such as the student from other section. Also, I trained my leadership and teamworking in this activity as I need to plan the task and process of cleaning. After that, I need to check my team's progress and task satisfaction. In this activity, I learned to be a global citizen, which contribute to the society is important.
My strength and advantages towards the activity is well time management. I need to control and spend the time well so that all the task able to complete within the program time.
The challenge of this activity is identify the work that can be done. In order to overcome this challenge, I communicate with the person-in-charge in this activity so that our team always follow the instruction.
