Reflection
From the webinar, I learned in-depth about colonization, decolonization and neo-colonization. Nowadays, western influences in Malaysian culture are still happening and are very clear. Its influence can be seen from the economic, social, artistic, political and other aspects. Many western influences are still 'dominating' the thinking of Malaysians, especially the youth of the new millennium. an action before acting. Through this webinar, I realized that the formation of identity is very important to all Malaysians so that our own local culture is not marginalized and inherited until the next generation. The identity of the people can be formed through the policies implemented by the government. For example, the priority order of the Malay language as the official language of education is the basis for improving the personality development of students. We as people should master the national language and the language of our race because of the language of the soul of the nation. In addition, a deeper appreciation and understanding of the Rukun Negara must also be inculcated in the soul of every group of society.
