Project 2: Inference Statistical Analysis

Reflection
From the project 2 that I had done with my teammates, I learned to find reliable and trusted datasets on the internet and using them for educational purposes. My team members and I were required to conduct an inference statistical analysis that covers the analysis including hypothesis testing, correlation, regression and ANOVA based on the dataset we selected. The dataset we selected is about the world happiness report in the year 2021. We have learned from each other about how to use hypothesis testing to test an assumption regarding a population parameter, how to use correlation to test relationships between variables in the dataset, how to use regression to estimate relationships between a dependent variable and one or more independent variables and finally how to use ANOVA to find out if the dataset results are significant. We are used to implementing these methods practically through this project compared to only listen to the theoretical lessons from the lecturer, which is really useful for us when it comes to a workplace situation. The good teamwork skills in my group are the reason we complete the project successfully.
