MINI REPORT
The activity of the day mentioned was just one of the activities in the club. The mandarin division of De'pikir Club had organized meeting every week. Every meeting had a topic, such as the topic about the debate, the topic about the news and also topic of some trending issues.
The club had given me the opportunity to joining as a committee member so I get to know many leaders and members, which broaden my social networking and also I can learnt many things from them. For example, their consistent in debating, learning debating skills. Besides, I get to know so much knowledge and obtain many opinions through the meeting and discussion.
SELF REFLECTION
Through the meeting, I got to know so much knowledge about how a debate team do the preparation for a competition. They need to collect the information from reliable website. The information including data, source of data, the background of the competition topic, and so on. Besides, they had their practice team to have the idea and practice like their opponents. So, they had ideas to fight back the words when in competition. Through this, I learnt that winning a competition is not easy, we had to go through every steps consistently and patiently, And, due to this is a team, teamworking skills is so much required in order to win the competition.
