Participating in the "Lost.com" composing class was an enriching experience that had a significant impact on the development of my Graduate Attributes as a participant. Throughout the classes, I discovered the transformative power of music composition and its influence on various aspects of personal growth. This reflection will delve into the impact of the activities on my Graduate Attributes, highlight my self-strengths in the composing process, and discuss the challenges I encountered along with the strategies I employed to overcome them.
The "Lost.com" composing class played a vital role in enhancing several of my Graduate Attributes. The creative and collaborative nature of the activities fostered my Communication and Interpersonal Skills. Engaging in discussions with fellow participants allowed me to exchange ideas, provide constructive feedback, and learn from different musical perspectives. Through effective communication, we were able to better understand one another and enhance our compositional skills collectively.
One of my self-identified strengths in the composing class was my ability to develop engaging melodies. The class aimed to equip participants with elementary composing skills, enabling them to create their own simple songs. This mini report offers an overview of the first class, held on 5th January 2023 at Venue N24 BK1, highlighting the details and significance of the session.
The first class of "Lost.com" composing class commenced on 5th January 2023, providing a beginner-friendly environment for participants to learn the fundamentals of song composition. The session spanned from 8.00 PM to 9.45 PM, allowing ample time for exploration and practice. The choice of Venue N24 BK1 provided a conducive space for creativity to flourish, offering participants a comfortable and supportive atmosphere.
