Self Reflection
As the secretary and emcee for the Cultural Activity Kelab Bahasa Mandarin Session 2022/2023 Semester II, I had the opportunity to play two important roles in ensuring the success of the club's activities.
As the secretary, my main responsibility was to facilitate smooth communication within the club. I actively communicated with club members by sharing meeting agendas, minutes, and event updates to keep everyone informed and engaged. Additionally, I managed club documentation, maintaining an organized database of members and ensuring efficient distribution of club-related information.
In addition to my role as secretary, I also took on the responsibility of being the emcee for club events and activities. As the emcee, I served as the host and facilitator, guiding the audience through various programs and maintaining an engaging and lively atmosphere. I kept the flow of the event smooth and enjoyable for everyone involved.
Throughout my experience as both secretary and emcee, I developed and honed various skills. Time management skills were crucial in balancing the responsibilities of both roles and ensuring that club activities were well-coordinated and executed on time. Additionally, my organizational skills were strengthened as I managed club documentation and facilitated efficient communication channels.
Serving as the secretary and emcee for the Cultural Activity Kelab Bahasa Mandarin was a fulfilling experience that allowed me to contribute to the promotion of Mandarin language and culture within the club. It provided me with opportunities for personal growth, fostering teamwork and collaboration. I am grateful for the trust and support I received from the club members and committee throughout the semester.
