Self Reflection

As the grand treasurer for the 'Code On Weekend: Python' event, my primary responsibility was to manage the budget meticulously. This involved planning and allocating funds for various expenses, ensuring that the event stayed within financial limits and all expenses were properly accounted for.

Alongside financial management, I played a crucial role in fostering teamwork and leadership within the organizational committee. Effective communication and collaboration with other members allowed us to work cohesively towards the common goal of delivering a successful workshop.

I am grateful for the mentors who provided invaluable guidance and support throughout the event. Their expertise and mentorship played a vital role in equipping participants with the necessary skills in Python programming, contributing to the overall success of the workshop.

The limited space at the venue highlighted the need for renting a larger space in the future to accommodate a greater number of attendees. This insight allowed us to plan and make necessary arrangements in advance, ensuring a more comfortable environment for participants.

Having a backup plan in case of emergencies was crucial as a treasurer. Anticipating unforeseen circumstances and proactively considering alternative solutions helped minimize expenses and ensured a smooth flow of the event.

Overall, my experience as the grand treasurer for the 'Code On Weekend: Python' event was rewarding. It enhanced my financial management, teamwork, and leadership skills, preparing me for future successful event management endeavors.
