I think that attending this activity or program is really useful to me as I think that it can help me understand more towards the industry by the real life sharing experience. " What should I do once I have finished my study?", this sentence comes to my mind while listening to the talk. Beside, I was also just realized that even though we are an engineer student, we are also able to join CIMB, working as other department. From the talk, there's a mention also on the graduate program whereby we can join the program as a graduate trainee, starting to learn about every job in every department. In terms of challenges, I think it could be quite challenge to me which is someone who will feel nervous easily. I think this might make me hard during the interview session. However, I think I'm able to manage it as I've learnt some skills while exchanging ideas during the mock interview session.
Mini Report
I joined this activity due to my interest toward industry field. Once I found out that I get the opportunity to exposed myself towards the industry, I was very excited, because even though it is the mock interview only, but the company also looking towards any potential students. This activity did not only the interview session, but also have some talks. Talks like how to present yourself as a jobseeker or as a interviewee. The skills of writing resume of curriculum vitae was also included in it. The dos and donts during the interview session was introduced first before we have the mock interview. Before that, we also have a session called ice breaking session whereby we as the participants are required to go on the stage and play some interacting games. I think this could really help our communications skills whereby we could listen to the instruction and response to it while the response should be also in a presenting way that there's lots of audience watching.
