Huawei Internship Journey

The industrial training experience in Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) had provided me abundance of experience and widen my knowledge and view. They are not limited to providing knowledge on technical aspect, they had also emphasized on intern’s attitude and personal development.
The most essential achievement received during the internship period were experience and knowledge. The practical experience provided a range of skill that prepared me for my future career, including meet tight deadlines and the ability to work under pressure, an understanding of the business consultancy organization, excellent programming protocol and standards and strong time management skills, and good communication with co-workers. The intern was also able to adapt well to the group environment and coordinate effectively with members of the teams to find appropriate guidance and work collaboratively to achieve a mutual goal.
I had successfully converted code into platform which saved my team’s manpower and prevent future risk. Moreover, the research and implementation on the company’s platform had provided my team and good documentation which will allow them to build up new project in shorter time spam. I had also built several dashboards within company platform which receive good feedback from client not only drew closer my team’s achievement to kpi but also increase our reputation.
In conclusion, this internship is vital in the course syllabus for engineering industry as practical skill had been the core value of an engineer. Throughout the journey, the intern shall be able to grow his professional knowledge and skill after gaining hands-on, practical experience in a real-world setting. Additionally, soft skill develop during the internship is essential for students’ success in career as good rapport and efficient communication contribute more that any attribute of a candidate. I believe that internship is an excellent journey and experience for every engineer student that are wished to be valuable in job market or engineer industry as the skills and knowledge gained throughout the journey will undeniable assist and guide them to the end goal.
