Lestari FABU and the Earth Society organised the third installment of the Siri Melentur Buluh III as part of the UTM Faculty of Architecture and Surveying's Landscape Architecture Programme. A high-impact research grant project (HIR Research Grant) has been ongoing at UTM's Living Lab Bamboo Avenue since 2019 and is scheduled to expire in March 2022. The Ipoh City Council is a collaborative partner to implement the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that was signed in 2019. This collaboration includes the construction of the signboard (entry statement), which uses bamboo as the primary building material.
The Living Lab (LL) concept can be employed as a research and student development strategy in which the environment serves as a source of information and a place of study for instruction and the research activity "HIR 9.3: Establishment of Bamboo Avenue as an Eco-LivingLab" produced learning activities. The Living Lab approach encourages researchers and FABU support staff to participate in the "Bamboo Bending Series III" programme through knowledge transfer from landscape architects, specifically LAr. Meor Abdullah Zaidi (Landscape Director of Ipoh City Council), who also shares knowledge with researchers and students at the UTM campus about bamboo planting methods that are appropriate for bamboo gardens. This course builds on the Bamboo Bending Series I & II seminar and programme, which teaches about bamboo's use in architecture and construction as well as the bamboo planting programme at the "Bamboo Bending Centre."
PURPOSE AND GOALS OF THE PROGRAMME
1) To educate students on the best practises for growing and caring for bamboo plants for landscaping.
2) Encourage students' enthusiasm for bamboo-related landscape design.
3) Students and participants learn the value of using bamboo and put that knowledge to use in managing and maintaining bamboo in a sustainable way.

Moreover, this programme also can be said that it was the first programme that I need to handle physically after one year as pandemic student that fully learned online class. So, it was a big challenge to me and my teamworks. So, to make this programme on going smoothly I should prepare myself and my teamworks carefully and neatly.
As a director I am the first one who need to adapt with the surroundings and currents issues to balance the the problems arise during the programme. I also need to comfirm and plan how the programme flow with the lecturers that guiding me to make this big big programme going smooth and exciting. Leadership and teamworking skills really needed during this programme besides the communication skills also importance because its how we need to communicate with the audience, the particpations and also the importants peoples in this programme.
