Assignment 3 was step by step basic PC assembly. Our group 6 wrote a group report on Basic PC Assembly, which include tools needed, sketch of a mother board layout, step by step PC assembly.

Report of PC Assembly

Reflection

     In reflection of assignment 3 — step by step PC Assembly, I learned further information such as a reason to use those tools. There were 3 parts for this assignment, part A tools needed, part B sketch of a motherboard layout, part C step by step PC Assembly. And I was responsible for the tools needed part. From my part, most of the tools were familiar but when I searched for the reasons, those were quite new to me. For instance, anti-static tools are needed for PC assembly as gloves or mats, but I didn't know some of the causes such as ESD from ourselves could damage the components for PC assembly which is related to the long-lasting and running of the PC.

     Although this was a virtual PC assembly rather than the reality PC assembly, I could learn how to assemble a PC and what are the steps and the tools that are needed. Therefore, this experience could help in the future when I had a problem with the PC or when I have a chance to assemble a PC.
