     The UNBOCS Carnival held at Dewan Sultan Ibrahim, UTM, on 13th October 2023, organized by Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar, offered visitors a dynamic and enriching experience. As a visitor, the event provided a unique platform to interact with various student bodies, clubs, and societies, fostering the development of essential skills.

 

     Academic and intellectual groups organized workshops and discussions, providing visitors with a platform for intellectual stimulation. These sessions encouraged critical thinking and exposed attendees to innovative ideas, contributing to the development of robust thinking skills. Visitors gained insights into ongoing research projects and scholarly pursuits within the university.

 

     Navigating through the eclectic booths and attending sessions outside one’s comfort zone underscored the importance of adaptability. Interaction with international clubs, cultural groups, and global initiatives provided a global perspective, fostering a sense of global citizenship among visitors. Exposure to diverse traditions and viewpoints enriched the understanding of the university's cultural tapestry.

Self-Reflection

     As a visitor to the UNBOCS Carnival on the first day, I found the experience to be incredibly enriching and enlightening. The event, organized by Majlis Perwakilan Pelajar, provided a unique opportunity to engage with the vibrant student life at UTM and explore a wide spectrum of interests.

 

     Interacting with various clubs and societies allowed me to hone my communication skills. Engaging in conversations with passionate students who were eager to share their experiences and insights not only broadened my perspectives but also improved my ability to express my thoughts and ideas effectively.

 

     Navigating through the diverse booths and attending sessions outside my comfort zone emphasized the value of adaptability. It reminded me of the importance of being open to new experiences and perspectives, and fostering a mindset that can readily embrace change and diversity.

 

     In conclusion, the first day of the UNBOCS Carnival made me think a lot about myself. I considered my skills, values, and what I wanted to achieve. I look forward to using what I learned to grow personally and professionally. I'm excited about exploring more and always learning, thanks to the inspiration from this event.
