Content on AWS

This is my journey of getting the AWS Badge. Firstly, I get the badge by completing all ten modules, including teaching video, console demonstration, and knowledge check. In this module, I learned about cloud computing from the very basic things until a bit complicated part. I can say that this module has covered a lot of items related to cloud computing. Before this, I did not know really well about cloud computing, but I got to know and upgrade my knowledge about it by completing this module. Next, it is a very comfortable and smooth way to learn the course about the learning process. It is not that hard to go through this learning process. It just needs our commitment and discipline to complete the course. I started this module on 18 December 2021 and completed all ten modules on 10 January 2022. It takes about 40 days for me to complete all the modules. I finished the modules by accomplishing the knowledge check and got at least 80% of the marks in every module. Lastly, about the badge, it really looks fine to me. It also stated there that I’ve graduated from the AWS academy.

a.  By completing the course, I manage to get new and more knowledge about cloud computing. In this module, I learned about cloud computing in the videos provided, experience console demonstrations and tested my knowledge by completing the knowledge check. By completing all the ten modules, I manage to get the AWS badge.

b.  Guide and support by my lecturer really motivate me to complete this project. I also want to complete the project because it contributes marks for my final result later. Lastly, the support from my family also motivates me to complete this whole module. 

c.  In my opinion, getting the badge is not that difficult and not that easy. We need to commit our time to watch every video, do lab tests and complete the knowledge check at the end of every module. This AWS contains ten modules. We also need to get at least 80% of the total marks to pass the module. The easiest module for me is the first module, as it is just the early description and basic explanation about the module, while the most challenging module for me is module 8, as it is a long module.

d.  This badge will be worth a lot. As a student, this badge will help me secure a job in future because this badge shows that I have different skills. This badge actually increases my opportunities to get employed. This badge provides marks for me in this subject in terms of studies.

e.  Getting the badge really improves my knowledge and skills in cloud computing. Before this, I knew nothing about cloud computing, and now I have knowledge about it. I can share with other people what is cloud computing. I really appreciated that I got the chance to learn about cloud computing in this module.

f.  In my opinion, every company should shift to cloud computing as it will benefit a lot. First of all, companies can reduce costs by moving to cloud computing. They don't need to hire technicians to install and manage your data centre. Other than that, cloud computing also provides scalability. You can get additional storage space whenever you need them and pay for only what you want.

g.  In my opinion, yes, every computer science student or UTM student itself should learn Cloud Computing and get the AWS badge. It’s not just a computer science student who needs to know about cloud computing, even those who are trying to be involved in businesses also need to learn about cloud computing. The whole world is actually in the process of shifting to cloud computing. So, no one should be left behind. Everyone needs to move along with the technology. 

h.  My advice to my friends who have not got the AWS badge yet is try to sacrifice and allocate your time to complete this module. This is not just about the subject marks but the priceless knowledge. I’m sure completing these ten modules will benefit you a lot. 

i.  After completing this badge, I wanted to try other online courses provided by amazon and other developers. I want to learn much more about cloud computing and also other services. I want to be an expert in the field and help other people also to have knowledge about cloud computing itself.

j.  In my opinion, the AWS course is such a good and great thing to be included in this subject. These AWS modules really help students to know in detail about cloud computing and have an authentic experience using the AWS services when doing the console demonstration. This badge also has allowed the student to have better opportunities to secure a job in future.
