The aim of this project is to study the factors like gender, age, hypertension, heart disease, type of job, average of glucose level, body mass index (BMI) and smoking status of patients leading to stroke. We also want to try predicting which factor is most likely to cause a patient to get stroke. Hence, we use several statistical methods to estimate the relationships between each of the variables.

    Project Purpose

    Reflection to this project

       This project used many statistical technique to conduct a hypothesis test on the data set. These technique is very useful to do some analysis when we needed to test about the hypothesis. With the step and the equation, we can choose to reject or not to reject the hypothesis statement on certain confidence level. 

       Other than that, we require to calculate the regression and the correlation between the variable. This allow use to come out with a equation that related the two variables. With the equation, we can do some prediction for the value by knowing one of the value of the variable.

       These project really tested us on the technique stated above. With the hypothesis testing, we can determine whether there is enough statistical evidence in favor of a certain belief, or hypothesis, about a parameter.
