SECI2143-01 PROBABILITY & STATISTICAL DATA ANALYSIS-Project 1

MALAYSIA UNDERGRADUATE STUDENT BACKGROUND

Our group CGS Clive Lai Yi Cheng, Greg Ericson Anak Jolis and me Simon Chong Kai Yuen created a survey form via Google form about Malaysia undergraduate student background to complete our project 1 for this subject. This form was distributed to all university local student. We collected their gender, age, highest qualification before further degree, satisfaction level to the current course, study time, CGPA, involvement in co-curriculum, field of study and so on. And we have collected 107 respondents' information. We have collected various type of measuring ratio such as nominal, ordinary, interval and ratio data. The data have been convert to graph, pie chart, histogram, box-plot, stem and leaf, frequency distribution and scatter plot in our report. At the same time, we created a presentation video as there is COVID-19 outbreak and MCO so we cannot attend to class to have a presentation

This is a new challenge to me because I never done this kind of survey and analysis before, and I learned how to do an analysis from the collected data, how to implement it in R programming, and yet the most interesting thing is when you are finding the relationship between those variables, and every group member has different idea and opinion. At first I feel like this is quite difficult and challenging to me, I was thinking of can it be done within the time given, at the end we finished it on time. And I would like to say thank you to my group members Greg and Clive, and my lecturer Dr. Sharin Hazlin Binti Huspi.

The data in the poster below were retrieved from the collected information after analysis and simplify.
