Mini Report
As a volunteer of this program, I wanted to be able to deepen my understanding of wildlife conservation besides contributing to the environment. I saw that this program was a great way to obtain practical experience and knowledge. I was able to enhance my environmental awareness, responsibility, teamworking and communication skills. These attributes plays a major role in contributing to the conservation activities and engaging with visitors at the zoo. Some of the activities included assisting with animal care tasks such as feeding and cleaning, educational talks and an explore race between volunteers.

Self Reflection
By participating in the KFK USR : ZOOLUNTEER 2023, I have gained a deeper appreciation for wildlife, enhanced my teamwork and communication skills and learn to take responsibility for my actions towards the wildlife and environment. I think that my passion for learning and willingness to work with others has allowed me to contribute effectively to various responsibilities and activities at the zoo. One of the challenges that I faced during this program was time management. This is due to the schedule being to pack and needs to follow strict timing. In order to overcome this challenge, one of the volunteers was chosen to be a time keeper and remind everyone so that we will be able to keep track of the schedule. Overall, Overall, joining the volunteering program has been a journey of self-discovery, personal growth, and a deepening appreciation for the environment. It is essential to continue educating myself and others, fostering a culture of respect towards wildlife and the environment.
