Adobe Photoshop Workshop

In conjuction with FIGURA '19, JKM Kolej Tun Razak (KTR) organised Adobe Photoshop workshop which was held as per below

Date :  12 October 2019 

Venue : Dewan Serbaguna, KTR

Time : 9.00am - 5.00pm

The main purpose of this program is to give exposure of how to edit pictures and design posters creatively using the Adobe photoshop workshop. The day long event comprises several sessions which focuses on different aspects of Photoshop such as image editing, image enhancement, poster designing and editing. The program was fruitful as the workshop coordinator conducted the program very well as most of the participants were new to Photoshop.

Roboccon Autocar Workshop

I attended Roboccon Autocar Workshop organised by UTM Roboccon Team as per the details below

Date : 27 & 28 September 2019

Location : DK8, N24

Time : 8.30am - 5.00pm

This program's primary motive is to introduce and give early exposure about robotics to the participants. The 2-days long event was divided into several slots which consists of session for technical, mechanical and programming as well as motivation slots by the previous UTM Roboccon team Alumnis. It was a very informative and helpful program where I got learn various new insights about building a robot from scratch. Besides the valuable knowledge, the inspiring talk by the speakers were amazing and gave me the extra push to study much more better. At the end of the event, I felt very grateful to take part in the event and learn new knowledges.

Into the Woods 2.0

Date : 7 December 2019

Time : 8.00 am - 4.30 pm

Venue : Johor Premium Outlet (JPO)

This is a programme organised by Student Recreational Club (SRC) participated by about 20 UTM students. This a off-road cycling programme which enable me to unleash my cycling skills to overcome the off-roadchallenges. This programme greatly challenges my physical strength. A strong physical and mental is vital in completing the mission to ride to JPO. This programme gave me alot of new experiences as well as new friends who share the same level of interest in cycling as me.

Speak Out

This public speaking worshop is organised by UTM English Debate Club. The programme details are as per below ;

Date : 16/11/2019 (Saturday) 

Time : 9.00 am - 1.30 pm

Venue : N24, DK9

The primary motive of this workshop is to improve the english speaking proficiency among the students. Besides, participants are able to boost confidence and courageous to speak in public, learn useful techniques to perform a effective public speaking as  well as improve the communication skill. This programme was very useful for me especially i learnt how to be an effective speaker while talking infront of people. The workshop was conducted by students who has represented the university for national and international debate & public speaking competitions. The was also a slot called mock speaking where the participants are given a chance to showcase their public speaking ability which will be then evaluated by the jury

Japan Global Student Exchange

This programme is conducted by the UTM Global Tourism Research Group lead by TPr. Dr. Norhazliza Abd. Halim. The participants are Japan High School students who visits our university to know more about the local culture, traditions, tourism, education and social life. I volunteered myself to attend the programme to be a facilitator. This means I will be assigned with 4-5 Japanese students where I have to share my knowledge and experience while gaining from the as well. This global exchange programme is a good platform for students of both the countries to exchange thier point of views, ideas and interests which will be useful for everyone. Ilearnt alot from this programme. I have joined this programme involving several Japanese High Schools such as ;

Sharing Session with Vice Chancellor

Date : 22 December 2019

Time : 2.30 pm - 4.00 pm

Venue : V Cafe, Arked Meranti, UTM

Last Sunday, I attended a casual tea-time session with Vice Chancellor of UTM, Prof. Datuk Ir. Dr. Wahid Omar which was also attended by a few local students as well as international students from Denmark, Japan, Czech Republic and Switzerland. The primary motive of this session as per quoted by the Vice Chancellor is to listen to the students’ aspirations as future leaders on their ideas and suggestions towards improving the university. Various interesting topics were discussed throughout the session uncovering new insights and possible solutions to pre-existing issues. I am very happy to be able to attend and  share my opinions to the Vice-Chancellor who valued my input. By the end of the session, I gained valuable experience and were more in-sync with the university’s aspirations. Ultimately, this event has been truly rewarding especially in allowing the students to participate in improving the university’s well-being.
