Mini Report:

The Geoinformatics Tournament is a programme designed to foster friendships between freshmen and seniors in the Bachelor of Science (Geoinformatics). Traditional games such as 'Tuju Selipar', 'Galah Panjang' and 'Bola Beracun' are examples of activities that can maintain their health and fitness. Other than that, these physical activities can help students to build a stronger bond. Since this programme is held by separating the students into different groups, it aims to promote a sense of teamwork among all of them. They will participate on behalf of their respective groups and will work together to win as many traditional games as possible. A prize will be awarded to those who succeed at the end of the match. The purpose of the activity is to make sure that all students get to meet new people, especially seniors, through these games. This programme is particularly valuable for me as it is my first with the Geoinformatics Club, and so it encourages everyone, including me, to engage and participate in future programmes.

Self-Reflection:

Overall, I gained a lot of experience from participating in this program, and I am very excited to be a part of it because I will be able to meet new people, especially seniors. I hope that this type of programme continues to exist in the future so that we may gain new experience and develop our skills. Our seniors, particularly 4th year students, form a group with juniors and seniors at random. This may cause some issues, such as miscommunication and misunderstanding, but eventually we manage to overcome them. As a result, while playing all of the games, we get to strengthen our social skills by being able to converse openly with people we don't even know yet. We also learned more about leadership and teamwork skills through the programme. Because we were divided into different groups, we were able to develop a sense of teamwork as well as leadership abilities among team members, allowing us to complete the task without being disqualified.
