UHLB1112 - ENGLISH COMMUNICATION SKILLS

This English course is designed to reinforce and enhance students’ existing English Language skills to enable them to communicate better in their current surrounding. Through guided and independent learning activities, students will develop their skills in reading, listening, writing as well as speaking. At the end of the course, students should be able to distinguish relevant information in factual texts on topics of interest. Students should also acquire the ability to compose texts on familiar topics. Additionally, this course will provide students with opportunities to enhance their listening and speaking skills and be able to identify the main points of speech given on frequently encountered matters as well as articulate their views on matters of interest.

My Most Favorite Picture

This is one of the most memorable pictures I took. I took this picture with my friend of our photography project in senior high school last year. This picture shows students in my school having a ceremony on Friday. This is very impressive because it teaches discipline and neatness, the ceremony begins with the raising of the Indonesian flag, followed by reading the morning prayer. We also get briefings about life and religion by our school coordinator. 

The cool morning atmosphere at the foot of Mount Welirang contains fog and the feel of the mountains be a complement atmosphere in memory when I saw this photo

My Reflection

UHLB 1112 or known as English Communication Skills, is a course given by UTM for foreign students who are not proficient in English, at least fill up the standard IELTS score of 5.5.  Lessons are guided by our beautiful lecturer, Ms Wanie for section 34. The atmosphere that radiates in the learning discussion is always fun, starting with greetings and brief stories by all of us, followed by group discussions, coaching on how to do the assignments, taking short breaks that sometimes play games, and exchanging thoughts are the characteristics of this learning.

This course is very memorable, even if I may be honest, it's the most enjoyable course. For suggestions, I can only say thank you and hopefully this lesson continues like this for every generation. Always cheerful, lots of interesting discussions and getting a lots of friends from all over the world
