SECI2143 - PROBABILITY & STATISTICAL DATA ANALYSIS

Several conclusions were obtained from the survey conducted and the results of data processing and statistical evidence. First, online shopping using e-commerce sites is increasingly in demand by consumers. Second, online shopping is in demand by both women and men, with teenagers occupying the first position in the use of online shopping. Third, most people tend to visit e-commerce sites to buy electronic devices, clothing, health, and beauty products. Fourth, of the many e-commerce companies in Malaysia, the three highest positions in terms of popularity are occupied by Shopee, Lazada, and Taobao. In addition, most consumers use online banking for payments. After completing the assignments given by our lecturers, we have a better understanding of data collection and analysis and can put them into practice in real life. By studying PSDA, we have now learned how to calculate frequency, percentage, average, and even quartiles using Microsoft Excel.

From project 2 we can understand and know what inferential statistics are. We worked on this project for approximately 2 weeks. I did this with two of my friends, Eunice Lim Xian Ni, and Teh Jing Lin. This project is the 2nd largest project in the PSDA study program
The methods we used in completing this project were division of tasks, discussions, and teaching each other. I have the opportunity to complete a hypothesis test. I used sample data to hypothesize Egypt's potential in FIFA 19.
The first step I took was looking for data, then I started doing calculations manually using z-test. that way I better understand what I can do in the hypothesis testing section. not only that, but we were also asked to code in the R-studio according to the lecturer's direction. At first, I ran into a lot of problems, because R-studio was a new app I was familiar with, but Eunice and Jn helped me find my error results. We searched for some R-code examples on youtube as well as google.
After that, we started to make a report and explained in detail what we got from this lesson. we communicate via Whatsapp, there we send Rscripts to each other and teach each other.
Although I got the basics of hypothesis testing in statistics, I also observed and understood the codes for the other sections, Correlation, Regression, Chi-square test, and ANOVA. because that way I get new knowledge and understand the essence of this learning. At the end of the discussion, we don't forget to make a conclusion report and thank you for our hard work.
