In the talk i learned a lot about the fourth industrial revolution, i personally had a lot of misconceptions about the scientific
advancements in computer science and this talk was helped me clear most of these misconceptions.
I got to know more about cloud computing and how its used in almost every aspect of our lives today, from big companies like
google, apple and TM down to using cloud in our homes, cars and phones. In addition, the presenter explained how the
internet played a major role in non-spread of the virus as the education and businesses nowadays are all online, this prevented
the economy from crashing during the current pandemic.
The information that amazed me the most was the fact that we live 30 km away from one of the biggest data centers in
Malaysia and this enables us to have faster internet than other cities in Malaysia.
At the end of the talk the speaker told us about how TM is trying to educate the public on using the internet more often in their
daily lives so that they can live an easier an safer life.
