SALEH MOHAMMED ABDULLAH ASKAR's Reflection
RSS
The cloud platform offered by Amazon.com Inc is Amazon Web Services (AWS), the world's most comprehensive and widely used cloud platform, providing more than 200 fully functional services from data centers around the world. The TIS course led to an AWS training course through the AWS Academy Cloud Foundation. The course is divided into 10 units. Each unit contains a recorded video that acts as a lecture. You must pass the test with a score of over 80% to advance to the next unit. Some units have a lab.
It took me 10 days to finish this course because I do one module each day, which was talking about economics and billing, global infrastructure, security, networking, storage, database, architecture, and monitoring. I didn't always pass the exam they give easily, I remember that in unit seven, which has a lab test, I took the test more than four times because actually the lab exam was confusing and there was a lot of code I was feeling. I didn't understand very well, but the multiple choice questions were not difficult because if I understood what was in the course I would solve them easily.
In the end, I finished each unit of the training course, for which I obtained a certificate from Amazon, and in the future I will work on studying new courses that are related to the fields of computer science.
PSDA Reflection
The PSDA course was one of the most interesting courses for me, and I learned a lot from it due to its relevance to real life.
Because of this course , I can make probabilities on a large set of data to get the information from the data set.
And because of the project, I learned R language which is a programming language created by statisticians for statistics, especially for working with data. It is a language for statistical computing and data visualizations widely used by business analysts, data analysts, data scientists, and scientists.
One of the hardest things for me was using R in the analytics, so I was working on the project with my friend until late times, but now, because of the skills I acquired, I can run my survey on a group of people and get the data I need. This will not be the last project but I can say that I have a lot of ideas that I would like to start in the summer vacation.
In the end, I would like to thank Dr. Sharin for her interest and that she was not hesitant to help and also thank my friends for the cooperation.,
TIS CLASS REFLECTION
RSS
Technology and information systems are my favorite subjects. The TIS course differs from other courses in that it focuses on production conversations, while other courses focus only on theoretical work. I learned a lot from TIS class. You have already learned some lessons about software, hardware, storage, connectivity, network, privacy, database, programming language and design
In this session we were divided into different groups and my group consisted of four people who worked hard with each other and were given many tasks together. Not only did this provide us with a way to learn in a new environment, but it also allowed us to increase our collaborative and teamwork skills.
In addition, opportunities were provided to participate in all kinds of talk. Attending their lectures gave me a lot of inspiration as they gave me a broader perspective on my career. Dr. Azyan Azati Binti Kamsani, helped us with all the topics of the course and also devised different ways to deliver the information to us.
In conclusion, I would like to thank Dr. Ezzat Ezzati Binti Kamsani for this beautiful experience that made her class one of the most beautiful for me and the ways that help in understanding the information.
GRADUATE SUCCESS ATTRIBUTES Class Reflection
RSS
In the first week of October 19, 2021, Dr. Tayeh Zahra gave us an overview of
the Graduate Success Attributes course, which talks about the traits and
habits that help a person communicate with and help others, as well as in
their work and While studying at university, which consists of seven skills
which are Communication, Thinking, Acumen, Scholarship Skills, Teamwork
Skills, Adaptation Skills, Global Citizenship Skills and Adventure Skills.
In the second week, we learned to understand graduate employability and
soft skills, which was given to us by Dr. Zain El Din Abdel Manan, and he
was talking about the importance of soft skills in employment, and how
managers view not only hard skills but also soft skills, such as
communication skills, creative thinking and the ability to Teamwork. After
that lecture I wrote in a small notebook the skills that I was missing and
decided that I should develop or learn a new skill in dealing with others, so
far, I have been able to learn two new skills and am looking forward to
learning more skills.
Then we learned the skill of scholarship, which was in an excellent timing,
because it was at the beginning of the semester, because we learned the skill
of self-learning, searching for information, quoting the truth, not stealing,
and keeping you. Legal material and far from plagiarism
communication skill
On November 2, 2021, we learned one of the traits of graduates,
communication skills which are the abilities you use when giving and
receiving information. Communication skills include listening, speaking and
observing. This skill is one of the most important skills required in the labor
market. And with Dr Rose Alinda Alias She taught us How to communicate
properly with body language. She also gave us some tips on talking, after this
lecture, I improved my communication skills as I admitted that I had
difficulty communicating due to shyness and fear of error. My friends in the
group helped me with this and I was able to break down many barriers and
get the work done better and faster.
Scholarship Skills
This week, we learned more about the scholarship skill. The scholarship skill
can be defined as information management. What is a person's ability to
discover information? Therefore, a person who receives a scholarship is a
good researcher, a good writer, a good reviewer, and a good presenter. This
skill will also benefit you throughout your life. He helped me now when I
was in university by helping me write reports and research without any
scientific or literary plagiarism. This will help me in the future by constantly
searching for information, because today's fields are changing and we must
keep pace with the times with continuous self-learning.
Entrepreneurial Skills
Entrepreneurial skills are those skills that are usually associated with being
an entrepreneur, establishing your company or business, and taking any
associated risks. An introductory lecture on Adventure Skills from Assoc. Mr.
Siti Hamida Muhammed Sitabar, Who taught us a lot of skills and
characteristics of entrepreneurs and later realize that not everyone can
become entrepreneurs and the idea in our mind is that managers or
entrepreneurs have an easy and comfortable life, but on the contrary, their
life is full of risks and responsibilities that I would like to take on in the
future, so I started to learn some entrepreneurial skills, such as risk-taking
skills and time management skills.
Thinking Skills
During the sixth week, Dr. TEH ZAHARAH BINTI told us that we had an
asynchronous class lecture which related to presentation skills, which had
already been recorded, but to be honest with the doctor, it was one of the
best presentations I've seen that I went back to it several times before I
recorded my presentation so that I could From being a good show, and one
of the most important tips that I learned is that as a presenter, you must be
confident during the presentation and not be filled with words and be
enthusiastic so that the viewer enjoys the show and be creative and
innovative
Team Working and Leadership Skills,
Leadership and teamwork have a direct impact on an organization's ability
to accomplish its mission. Leadership is needed to ensure that everyone on
the team is moving in the same direction and working towards the same
goal. This skill is required by company managers because working in a team
helps to achieve goals and produce a high-quality product, So, Dr. TEH
ZAHARAH gave us a group worksheet, which helped us work as a team, me
and my group
Adaptability skill
Adaptability is a soft skill, meaning the ability to quickly learn new skills and
behaviors in response to changing circumstances.
We must also constantly change our lifestyles because our world is always
changing. For example, technology today is not like five years ago, a person
who could not adapt will not be able to live with us
Global Citizenship Skills
Global citizenship is competence and knowledge Appreciating and caring
people around the world. To have this ability, we must be aware of it
Continue to ask questions about the complexity of global issues and develop
critical thinking skills.
For example, when the floods occurred in Malaysia, Dr. ZAHARAH was
telling us that the affected people could not attend this lecture, in
appreciation of their condition.
In conclusion, I would like to thank the Dr. TEH ZAHARAH for the effort
she made for us and for the valuable and important information that we
obtained through this chapter, which was one of the most beautiful courses I
attended and that changed some concepts of life. And it taught me how to
better manage my life. Another for the interaction that made us feel together
and I hope to meet soon so that I greet you and my friends
