Activiti 3 - CGMA Expedia 2019

This event was very enjoyable as well as beneficial. I managed to earn a lot starting from communication skills along with teamwork skills. As we were put together with our seniors, we had to communicate properly to break the ice and work together efficiently and effectively. We had to discuss on our tasks that was give and split the task, so that we can finish it in time. We also helped each other if we were free. Other than that, I also managed to increase my thinking skills. New and creative ideas were required so that we can complete our tasks in the best from possible. I also managed to think differently by hearing others suggestions and ideas. It was very constructive experience.

Expedia is an event held yearly by CGMA association. The aim of this event is to enhance and strengthen the relationship between the CGMA members. This also became a chance for juniors to interact with seniors and lectures and vice versa. The event started by gathering at respective colleges at 7.30 am, so that the bus can pick us up. After reaching the venue which is the Desaru beach in this case, we were separated into teams. Each teams have members from all years. Then, we were given task to build a sandcastle by using given items. After that, we had dodgeball following by lunch. The event then moved on with a variant of volleyball. The event ended with prize giving ceremony. We turned back to UTM from Desaru at 7.20 p.m.
