Activiti 1 - Gotong Royong Perdana (School of Computing)

By participating this event, I learned a lot. I was able to improve my communication skills as I have to work together with people that I am not familiar with. I was able to use this to communicate with my seniors and befriend them. I believe this will help me in the future if I got any difficulties in UTM because I can refer my seniors for guidance. Next, teamwork became an important element in this activity. I have to work with others to fulfill the role given to me as its very hard to do it alone. Through this, I was able to experience working with others. This is essential to me as I teamwork is a skill that is essential in my future career. Then, I also learned on ethics and integrity. I learned we have to maintain a good ethics and strong integrity, so that we can avoid unnecessary problems and work together with others comfortably.

Gotong Royong Perdana was an activity held by the PERSAKA association around the School of Computing (SC) which consists of block N28A and N28. The event is held annually by the PERSAKA association to clean up the area around the SC. This is to make sure that the students and teachers alike have a clean and neat environment to have lectures and educational activities in the school. The event started at 7.30 a.m and ended at around 2.00 p.m. The participants were gathered in parking lot first and separated according to their course. Then, each of the group was allocated with a section that they are responsible for. Everyone managed to work together and clean and improve the place. This event is a great activity to be held and it should maintain as its status of annual activity.
