Participating in Fesbina as part of the mini-games and workshops unit was an enriching and educational experience. Our unit's responsibility included brainstorming and researching workshop activities, focusing on current trends to attract customers effectively. Due to limited budget, we decided to design our mini-games booth using recycled items whilst emphasizing sustainability and creativity at the same time. Furthermore, this task required a lot of planning and budgeting to set a profitable yet reasonable fee for student participation. The success of our efforts showed when the workshop reached the full capacity on the first day of pre-registration. With thorough preparation and strong teamwork, our unit contributed RM1,500 in sales to the program. This experience significantly enhanced my problem-solving and teamwork skills, offering a valuable and memorable learning opportunity.
As a committee that is in charge of the mini-games and workshops unit, my units are required to brainstorm ideas for the workshops. After conducting thorough research, we have selected three activities namely, batik painting, fluid bear-brick painting, and tufting for inclusion in our workshop. As for our mini-games booth, we have decided to make the games from recycled items. Furthermore, we are actively engaged in designing posters and Google Forms for our unit. . In just 3 days of this program being held, my units have successfully generated sales of around RM1,500.00. Apart from the mini-games booth and workshops, Fesbina features numerous stalls and vendors selling a variety of goods, including food, beverages, and clothing. o attract a larger audience, the Fesbina committee has also organized additional activities such as a flying fox ride, escape room challenge, and eating contest.
