This ‘gotong royong’ event is an event organized by the faculty of computing where all the computer residents become a volunteer to clean their place of study every day. So, it feels comfortable when doing learning activities on campus. Of all the volunteers who have been present, they are divided into several groups to clean a place that has been divided by the committee and everyone will definitely have the task of cleaning the place. This is done in groups, not individually. So, we will do it together and the work doesn't feel hard to do. The things that we do during a ‘Gotong Royong’ program are like taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping, cleaning glass, painting faded walls, and so on. Of course, there we are accompanied by a mentor who will direct us and control all works that we did. We do all of these activities in turn so that all work fairly.

• Self-reflection

When participating in this ‘Gotong Royong’ event I had a very good impact on me. I became close with friends, helped each other without embarrassment, joked together when we felt tired, and many more. I watched and I learned that we cannot live alone. In this 'gotong royong' event, I was taught to live helping each other regardless of race, ethnicity, or country. When I cleaned the mirror there was a friend of mine who helped me to clean the mirror too. After I finished cleaning the mirror, I helped another friend of mine to paint the faded walls. We take turns doing this and help each other. The advantage that I get is that I am more confident in getting to know my friends even closer. After all our tasks have been completed, do not forget to return all the equipment in its place. The challenge that I feel is how we adjust to new friends who we have never met before.
