Volunteering details
On the 30th of November, I took part in a voluntary program which was held at Zoo Negara, Kuala Lumpur. This page serves as a digital memorandum to those sweet memories.
Details
During the voluntary activities, were were split into smaller groups and were given different sections of the Zoo to be worked on. My group was given the task to clean up the animal cages and dens at the Savannah Section which comprised of native animals from Africa.
The event was for 2 days, where we arrived at KL on the 29th and carried out the activities on the 30th.

My group and me were working in the Savannah part of the zoo where our first task was to clean the Rhinoceros habitat. Then, we moved on to feeding the Giraffes and cleaning their enclosure. After a lunch break, we then proceeded to feed a few different types of animals of which were Buffaloes, flamingos and Rhinoceros.
