Online Global Classroom: Webinar on Biological Control Technology and Development 2022 is program of Bioscience Department, Faculty of Science. The purpose of the program is to spread the knowledge and importance of biological control of animals and their role to plant ecosystem. Besides, the student can gain benefit knowing the best method to use what kind of animal that suitable to control the pests in the farm or plantation. This program can be consider knowledgeable since we can get to know the different kinds of types of animals by looking at various pictures of animal species and their prey and predator in the food chain of ecosystem. Hence, ecosystem is balance because of the balance population of animal species.
Self-Reflection
As the active listener and participant of this webinar, this webinar exposed me with many new knowledges since I can get to know variety of animals that can be use to control the pests population in farms from the invited speakers. This improved my knowledge skills where I participate this webinar in order to get valuable knowledge that I did not learn during the class (Additional information). Besides, I can increase my critical thinking skills since there are some questions that require the participants to answer with their ideas in certain condition they are being placed in. This webinar allow me to ask questions to clear my doubt since the speaker is an expert in biological control of animals. During the program, I learnt to be discipline by hearing all the information speak by the speakers and jot down all the information in notebook.
