Director of Subprogram Checkers

Virtual sports day is a very suitable program for psychology students to reduce stress, enjoy and take a break from doing assignments from lecturers. This program is very suitable for them especially during the covid-19 epidemic season. During the outbreak, it put a lot of pressure on them. So, this program strongly encourages students to join this program as participants. This program provides 4 virtual sports such as PUBG, Mobile Legend, Gartic. IO and Checkers. Participants can grab the opportunity to compete in the sport. The purpose of this program is to increase the awareness about the importance and contribution sports make in terms of mental, physical and social well-being, help the psychology students to positively embrace their inner weaknesses and realize their inner strengths, enhance active participation by all psychology students in order to create a healthier and flourishing community and strengthen the bond between all participants which include 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th-year psychology students and lecturers.

As a member of the program committee, I have learned some things in the program. To be honest, this program helped me a lot in improving my shortcomings such as communication skills and adding knowledge in the online system. Communication skills are the main element to convey information to someone, as is the case with this program. Furthermore, it was an experience for me as the director of the subprogram checkers because before I did not have the opportunity to hold that position. As a director in the subprogram, it helped me develop my leadership skills. I would like to thank the director and organizer for giving me the opportunity and fixing the existing weaknesses.
