Kuiz Online Maulidur Rasul

Mini Report:

Kuiz Maulidur Rasul was held virtually via Google Meet and Facebook Live in conjunction of celebration Prophet's birthday which is also known as Maulidur Rasul. This program was opened for UTM students either Muslim or non-Muslim. The objectives of this progam were, commemorate the history of the Prophet Muhammad and take lessons from the sacrifice of the Prophet to his people for Muslims along with developing the knowledge and history of Maulidur Rasul. Apart from that, non-Muslims can take the opportunity to find out about the way Muslims provide treatment regardless of religion. 

I was elected to be a vice treasurer for this program as a representative from Pimpinan Mahasiswa Islam (PMI) to contribute and assist the treasurer who was from Kelab Kelana Siswa. I assisted the treasurer in writing a financial report as well as being a middle-person to manage fund for the program. For this event, the committee board had agreed to award the winner with cash only instead of item or medal. The program was conducted for 3 stages where only the remained participants were eligible to enter the last round to grab a chance to win. Therefore, once the quiz ended which was Stage 3, I had to collect all the winners' details in and passed the details to the treasurer of the program for the prize purpose.

Self Reflection:

Along the program was held, I had gained a leadership and teamworking skills as I am one of the representative from Persatuan Mahasiswa Islam (PMI), in-charge of assisting and monitor the program's treasurer in writing a financial report for the program. Apart from that, I also gained a communication skills along the program. Even there were issue with fund that were not received that time, I became a middle-person for the cash transaction from Pimpinan Mahasiswa Islam to Kelab Kelana Siswa's account to support and the cash prize for the winner. As there were good and clear communication with transparency especially in handling financial activity, the program was conducted and done successfully. All of the winners already received the cash prize as planned in paperwork. A month after that, the fund issue for the program was resolved.
