The aim of the program was to create break the false stigma of the society about psychology. The reason why I joined the program is because I think that the content and the aim of the program is very useful to the society nowadays as the pseudo psychology becoming more prevalent including among the youngsters and elders. In my opinion, many more communities out there are unaware about what is the nature of psychology and the use of psychology in our everyday life. Therefore, I joined the program to help the community to break their false stigma about psychology.

Through the program, the graduate attribute that I gained is communication skills. Self Reflection

Graduate attributes that I gained from this program which are the communication skills and teamworking skills really helped me in many ways. Communication skills is really important which is important in order to achieve goals in life, make me realize that if we can communicate well with others, it facilitates us in delivering information or receiving the information from others Also, leadership and teamworking skills is crucial in order to achieve our objective in the things we do. As for me, I believed that teamworking between the committee members really helped in making sure that the program runs smoothly.

In addition, there are a lot of information and experienced that I gained from the “Break the Stigma” program. Mr Mohd Akif Farhan Ahmad Basri who is a clinical psychologist really helped me in increasing my knowledge about psychology and helped me in changing my perspective toward psychology. His high knowledge and experience about psychology also made me wants to seek more knowledge about psychology. It made me thinks that there are still lot of interesting things that I have not discover about psychology even me myself is a psychology student.

Also, before and during the program, there are a lot of challenges that I faced. One of the challenges that I faced is communication. I as a second year of psychology student, I do not have many friends and not know the other students really well as I have seen them only in first year. Online learning due to Covid-19 really limit my social connection with others. So, it is hard for me to communicate with the committee members for the first time. But, thanks to the encouragement from the other committee members, I was able to communicate well with them. The other challenges is the bad internet connection. It was really hard to catch up with the flow of the program as my internet connection was really slow during the program. Despite the challenges that I faced, the program is really fun to join and helped me in many ways.
