REFLECTION ON THIS COURSE
RSS
When I was first introduced to this class, I lacked knowledge of our current technology system worldwide. At first, I was expecting this class to be full of teacher-centered learning, so I targeted to get a 4.00 in this course. It is not as easy as it looks. As I completed the course project, I have learned various things and gained much knowledge across each topic. This course takes a lot of effort because the amount of assignments is increasing day by day, but the outcome of the project gives me contentment and satisfaction. I learned about AWS services provided by AWS Cloud Computing and it helps me in generating more knowledge and ideas for the future.
I think I need to improve my knowledge in this area. Since it is new and fresh knowledge, I need to sharpen my skills and do more research on the new technology provided. I'm getting interested in building robots, but with my current knowledge, I think I need to improve certain criteria to help me in the future. Furthermore, this industry requires a lot of knowledge and effort, so I hope I will get a better grasp of new technology. Since I have less than 4 years more before graduating, I will try to collect and gain a lot of new knowledge to accomplish my dream.
Personally, I think industry talk gives a huge contribution to me to gain various knowledge about our current technology such as 5G and Wi-Fi 6, 4th IR, Augmented Reality, Cloud Computing, and Power BI. It helps me to know about current issues and not leave me outdated. I am very interested in the Augmented Reality talk, and this is one of my favorite talks. It helps me differentiate augmented reality and virtual reality. When I listened to this talk, I can imagine a new future where technology is needed in every aspect, such as medical where we need high technology to visualize aided simulation, or in the automotive industry where we can just use AR to give driving experiences.
Last but not least, I want to express my highest gratitude toward our lecturer, Dr. Izyan Izzati, for always guiding us throughout the course. She is a wonderful lecturer as she always makes sure all the students do not lose their tracks in loaded assignments. She is always being considerate to their students who are having problems regarding this course. I hope in the next semester she will teach me about another course. She always keeps interacting with students and will explain more about the topic that students do not understand. She always wants us to enjoy this course as she tries to do activities in Kahoot (quiz) and also in Miro (mind-mapping and present).
