Study and understanding about the RPI.
Follow En Farid to butanol plant. En Farid introduce to me the corrosion cuppon that use in the plant to measure the rate of corrosion.
Study and understand about damage machanism.

Follow En Farid to do dye-panetration test on valve GA 1111C that undergoes pitting.
En farid give me task to do failure analisis on the vavlve. After discaussing with my supervisor and En Azhar (bos), we decide to run all the analisis at UTM lab that will be conducted by me.

Site visit to Utility plant to perform thermo scanning on incinerator by using thermography scan camera.
-Thermography scan camera is the equipment use to calculate temperature of objects/equipments by using thermal imaging system.
-Thermal cameras detect temperature by recognizing and capturing different levels of infrared light. This light is invisible to the naked eye, but can be felt as heat if the intensity is high enough.

Arrived at UTM Material Lab. Discauss with Dr wan Fahmin and En. ayub about all test that i will run there. Dr wan Fahmin guide me on how to cut the valve for sample preparation.
Start cutting the valve to prepare the sample. Since, the valve is from stainless steel, its took some time to cut.

- Corrosion Management Plan (CMP) is a system approach involving all aspects of human factors to reduce the risk of unpredicted corrosion failures.
