UTM GAMES 2022 (KTF)
MINI REPORT
In November 2022, I participated in the UTM Games (KTF) held at Stadium Azman Hashim, UTM. The event ran from November 25th to December 1st and was organized by UTM Sports Excellence. I actively contributed as a member of the parade, representing my college, Kolej Tun Fatimah (KTF), during the marching segment. This involvement highlights my participation in the event and my college spirit.
In the 12 days leading up to the UTM Games 2022, our preparations for the parade as representatives of KTF were nothing short of intense and exhilarating. Each day brought with it a renewed sense of focus and determination as we honed our marching skills and perfected our routine to ensure a flawless performance on the big day. Our practice sessions were meticulously planned and executed. Under the guidance of our dedicated coaches and team leaders, we devoted countless hours to refining our steps, formations, and transitions, striving for excellence in every aspect of our parade performance.
My role as a marching representative for KTF filled me with pride and enthusiasm. Clad in our team colors and uniforms, we marched in unison, displaying unity and solidarity with our fellow participants. The energy in the air was palpable as we moved through the stadium, our synchronized steps echoing against the backdrop of cheering crowds and enthusiastic supporters. Participating in the parade was not just about showcasing our presence, it was about embodying the values of teamwork, discipline, and dedication that define the essence of sportsmanship. As we marched, I couldn't help but feel a sense of belonging and pride in representing KTF.
In the end, our hard work and perseverance paid off, as we delivered a stellar performance during the UTM Games parade. It was a moment of pride and accomplishment for each member of the team, knowing that our dedication and determination had culminated in a truly memorable experience for me and everyone who witnessed our performance. This memory will be sown in the heart.
SELF REFLECTION
Reflecting on my experience as a marching representative for KTF at the UTM Games 2022, I have a strong sense of progress and success. Being a part of such an important event gave me the chance to demonstrate my abilities and commitment while also learning priceless lessons and insights that I will carry with me forever. During the rigorous 12-day rehearsal period preceding the procession, I encountered several challenges and obstacles that put my strength and will to the test. Though there were times when I felt discouraged and doubtful, I persisted, pushing myself outside my comfort zone and finding inner strength and tenacity I never thought I had. We practiced nonstop to perfect our routine and synchronise our motions, so every practice was a chance for personal and team development.
In addition, taking part in the UTM Games helped me develop essential skills like persistence, discipline, and time management. The demanding training programme required me to have indescribable attention and commitment, which meant that I had to efficiently manage my time and be focused on goals. I developed a strong sense of discipline and perseverance that I can use in many parts of my life by sticking to a rigorous practice schedule and persevering through times of exhaustion and suffering. By reflecting on these aspects, I gain a deeper understanding of my strengths, how I handle challenges, and how I can leverage these experiences for future growth.
