REPORT
This event was organised by IET (The Instituition of Engineering of Technology) on 8 until March of 2021. Vice is virtual capstone experience that have been conducted for 3 consecutive years. This programme had a collaboration with 3 different universities and from 3 different countries. We have 39 students from UTM (Universiti Teknologi Malaysia) , 15 students from University of Riau ,4 students from Ritsume University in Japan and the other two from UTHM and UTeM.
The objective of this event are to provide experience towards students in solving problems that have been faced by the local. It also help students to improve their communication skills while having a group work with different students from different region.Phase 1 more on data clustering,brainstorming idea and prototype devolepment. For this phase 1 , I was assigned as publicity unit that have to write announcement for every activity and create the promotion sentences. I also did a write an article in Bahasa regarding this event Vice 3.0 .
SELF- REFLECTION
This event really help me to increase my skills in leadership and teamwork ,communication skills and adaptability before or during the event. During this event i was given an opportunity to write an article for the event and it was my first experience. The teamwork skill really help me alot in managing my task with my other group member. Since my task is as publicity unit it really helps me in improving my writing skills.
