Activities:
- Supervisor gives a task to study the new standard for OSH Management System which is ISO 45001
- Read the work paper on ISO 45001
- Do research online about ISO 45001
- Make a summary and notes on the topic given
- Going back home at 5.00 pm
Date/ Day: 20 June 2018 – Wednesday
Activities:
- Continue the task that given by the supervisor yesterday about ISO 45001
- Making a simple report on ISO 45001
- Read the other paper on OHSAS 18001 and MS 1722 standard
- Understanding the difference between ISO 45001 and OHSAS 18001
- Asking the staff about the standard and OSH Management System for better understanding
- Going back home at 5.00 pm
Date/ Day: 21 June 2018 – Thursday
Activities:
- Attend a seminar about the Noise Exposure Regulation at Dewan Rafflesia, Menara NIOSH
- Gain new knowledges on the Occupational Health where it deals with all aspects of health and safety in the workplace
- Being exposed to the working environment including risk factors at the workplace which may lead to cancers, accidents, musculoskeletal diseases, respiratory diseases, hearing loss, circulatory diseases, stress related disorders and communicable diseases and others.
- Gain new information regarding the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994 (OSHA 1994)
- Going back home at 5.00 pm
Date/Day: 22 June 2018 - Friday
Activities:
- Submit the logbook for week 1 of internship to the supervisor, Encik Hanafi to be evaluate.
- I have been given a new task to do the reports compiling for OSH Compliance Support Programme.
- Encik Hanafi briefed about all the programmes involved in the OSH Compliance Support Programme which are OSH Management System (OSHMS), Chemical Health Risk Assessment (CHRA) and Initial Exposure Noise monitoring (NOISE).
- In the OSH Management System includes gap analysis (safety audit), Hirarc Training (risk assessment process) and OSH Documentation.
- I jotted down all the factory involved in order to make it easier for me to compile all the reports together
