Mini Report
This program is designed to enable senior students to share their experiences from their industrial training. During this session, seniors provide in-depth information about the companies they worked for, including details about the working environment, job responsibilities, projects, and salary ranges. Juniors are encouraged to ask questions, allowing them to gain insights into various industries and make informed decisions for their future industrial training placements. This experience not only expands their knowledge of the industrial environment but also helps them identify potential companies or fields they may be interested in.
In the second session, students are divided into groups to participate in a tower-building activity using cups, boxes, gift wrappers, and other materials. This activity requires teamwork and effective communication as each group collaborates to construct their tower. To make it more exciting, the groups compete against each other to destroy opposing teams' towers while protecting their own. This activity promotes the development of leadership skills, teamwork, and enterprising skills among the students.
Reflection
This program proved to be immensely valuable, providing a wealth of knowledge and new insights. It offered me the opportunity to learn extensively about various companies, enabling me to narrow down my preferences for future applications. The sharing session with the senior students was enjoyable and highly beneficial for us juniors. It helped me gain a better understanding of companies that truly resonated with me.
Moreover, the game session was a delightful experience. Collaborating with my teammates to construct the tower demanded teamwork and creativity to meet the given criteria. Despite challenges such as the hot weather and limited resources, we managed to overcome them by locating a shaded area. Our effective communication fostered a stronger bond among us. This program effectively instilled attributes such as teamwork, leadership, and an enterprising mindset.
