MINI REPORT:
I had the privilege to attend the Kursus Pengurusan Persatuan Sesi 2022/2023 (Association Management Course 2022/2023), a comprehensive training program organized by Hal Ehwal Pelajar. The course took place from December 15th to December 17th, 2022, at the scenic Savanna Hill Resort. As the Vice President of Rotu Navy, my role in this course was not only to represent our association but also to glean valuable insights and skills to enhance our organizational efficiency and leadership.
The Association Management Course proved to be a crucial platform for developing and refining thinking skills. Through interactive workshops and discussions, I gained a deeper understanding of strategic planning, decision-making processes, and critical analysis—essential components for effective association management. The course challenged me to think beyond the immediate and consider the long-term implications of our decisions, fostering a more comprehensive and forward-thinking approach to leadership within Rotu Navy.
Adaptability was a recurring theme throughout the program. Engaging with peers from diverse backgrounds and associations exposed me to various management styles and perspectives. This experience reinforced the importance of adaptability in navigating the dynamic landscape of association management. As the Vice President of Rotu Navy, I recognize the need for flexibility in responding to the ever-changing needs and challenges faced by our association.
The course also placed a strong emphasis on leadership and teamwork skills. Through practical exercises and case studies, I honed my ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate effectively. These insights are invaluable as I strive to contribute positively to the growth and success of Rotu Navy. Participating in the Kursus Pengurusan Persatuan Sesi 2022/2023 (Association Management Course 2022/2023) as the Vice President of Rotu Navy has been a transformative experience. One key takeaway is the enhancement of my thinking skills. The course challenged me to approach association management strategically, emphasizing critical analysis and forward-thinking.
