AWS Journey

   Firstly, I need to complete all those ten modules about AWS cloud computing to get the AWS Badge. Initially, I didn't even know what cloud computing was, and I had zero knowledge about it as it was my first time hearing about it. Through our lecturer's guidance, I got the gist of the concept bit by bit. However, I still found it hard to understand the terms as they are complex words, and you need to understand the concepts behind them. Therefore, to solve the problem, I attended the industrial talks organised by our lecture on this course. With those and the slide notes, I could understand better the whole concept of cloud computing. The SECP1513 course allowed us to indulge ourselves in AWS courses where we needed to complete ten modules to gain the badge. These ten modules helped me expand my knowledge of cloud computing. Achieving the last tenth module was challenging as I needed time to understand each context. Although the tutorial video provided us with subtitles, it was still difficult to understand the contexts. Therefore, I always take notes whenever I do each module. Module 6 was the most challenging module for me, as it is the longest. I failed twice in this module's knowledge check. Fortunately, the AWS system gives us many chances until we pass the knowledge check with a score above 80. The knowledge checks could assist me in identifying which parts of the courses I need to give extra effort. Overall, the module took me nearly one month to complete. I started the journey in December, and with the other assignments and assessments from other courses piling up, completing this module was slow. After receiving the AWS Badge and certificate as a reward for my hard work for one month, I felt very proud. I have gotten and expanded my knowledge which will be helpful for my career journey in the future. Before the end, I would like to give my love and thanks to my lecturer Dr Azurah for giving me this opportunity and guidance thoroughly in completing this project. I felt honoured and grateful for all those experiences.
