Report Activity No. 2

During this program, I learn a lot about team work and leadership skills. I manage a team of two members and despite of lack of member, I manage to give out task accordingly and based on their strong skill. As I have basic in designing, I can teach my team member about the basic. Also, I am understanding if the team member is lack in certain important field and I tried my best in covering her work. As I was a leader of multimedia team, it was challenging as it was my first time in handling any kind of team. Fortunately, its only consist of two members but the downside is, one of the member is being really uncooperative. It is challenging because the member is a friend of mine, and its hard to being stern towards them as it can come out as misunderstanding and unnecessary fight. Plus, I was quiet soft back then, I dislike unnecessary fight but it was a mistake on my part, as that team member being disrespectful towards me. I solved this by giving her a warning that they should start working and stop complaining. All in all, I learned a lot from my mistake that hopefully I avoid making in the future.

On 10th of October 2019, which is first day of the program, the first activity they do is divide themselves into group by facilitators and create group's name and draw logo themselves. During this activity, we familiar ourselves with the new batch. The next activity is leisure where they can stroll around and brainstorm for the acting tonight. During the night, we had BBQ and watch acting performance by the juniors.

On 12th of October 2019, which is the last day, they participate in treasure hunting by the beach and it was super hot day and humid. The juniors cannot enjoy the activity fully as the weather is really sunny that day. Then, in the afternoon, they get to play in the beach or ocean before going back to UTM.

During that time, I learn a lot in being leader of multimedia team. It was so challenging as one of the team member was being uncooperative and the weather is unpredictable.
