Mini Report:
March 3, 2020, was the day of the Huawei Connected Campus at University Technology Malaysia. For the first time ever, a Huawei event will be hosted in a Malaysian public university. The ceremony took held in the Dewan Sultan Iskandar. More than 1,000 UTM students and employees, including Vice-Chancellor Datuk Ir. Dr. Wahid Omar and Regional Director of Huawei Cloud & AI Southern Pacific Region, Mr. Lim Chee Siong, were in attendance. As part of its ongoing outreach to the people of Malaysia, Huawei is hosting the Huawei Connected Campus, a stop on its global tour. Having a professional program and being innovative are the keys to success. During this session, they were given the opportunity to discuss our long-term goals. What steps should we take to simplify our lives and what should we do to go where we want to go? Their advice and encouragement was really helpful to all of us. They provide more opportunities for UTM students than for students at any other institution.
Self-Reflection:
In order to secure a career as a software developer at Huawei or another IT company, Huawei Connected Campus 2020 taught students how to enhance their technical abilities. In addition, this course taught us how to perform well in a job interview by providing us with the necessary information and understanding. Last but not least, Huawei eventually employed several of the event's brilliant participants. Thanks to Huawei for organizing this event at the University of Texas at Austin (UTAM). During this event, I learnt a great deal about their projects, such as Connectivity and facilities. As a result, I'll have a better idea of the relevance of technology in the future. It was an excellent chance for me to practice following in their footsteps. Because they were offered ideas and suggestions for building a successful career. It will give me the inspiration I need to plan for the future in the right way.
