Project for Graduates Success Attributes
During the 13th week of the semester, Dr. Hadi gave us a new group assignment. The assignment is we have to create a project, like a program and do the proposal for it. My group members are Amjad, Fikri, Ilyas and Anika. We took some time to choose the group leader since everyone refused to be one, including me of course. Finally, Amjad agreed to be the group leader.
During the meeting, we shared our opinions on what kind of a project we want to do. Everyone has a different opinion which made us hard to make the decision. I suggested to do a project on sustainable lifestyle like a fast-fashion industry awareness. After some discussions, we finally decided to do a danger of smoking awareness campaign. We called our project “Smoking Kills”. What a cool name.
I volunteered to be the secretary and oh boy. I promised myself not to volunteer on doing so many works but I did, mainly because I was so eager to do the proposal. Some might say that being a secretary is easy cuz you just have to compile everything what the other group members have written for their parts but it’s not just that. It’s kinda hard to explain but I have my own way of doing work and it’s stressing me out when my work system is disturbed.
On the presentation day, almost everyone in my class dressed up smartly for the presentation. My group was the third one to present. When the first group presented, Dr.Hadi asked a lot of questions to them and this made us very anxious. While the second group was presenting, we prepared the answers for some possible questions that Dr.Hadi might ask. If you think Dr.Hadi asked the possible questions that we came up, you're absolutely wrong. Dr.Hadi asked a question that we had no idea how to answer. Literally. We had no idea for the new approach to stop people from smoking. Even though we couldn't answer that question, I think the presentation went well.
