AWS Reflections
1. A summary of what you haive gained from completing the course (get a badge)
Obtaining the AWS badge has been exciting for me, as I've learnt to manage my time wisely so that I can complete all 10 lessons in the required timeframe. There, I was faced with a new workplace in which I learned more about cloud services, which is a sort of IT infrastructure service that many businesses use nowadays. As time goes by, I realised I that AWS becoming more interesting and it is very significanceimportant in the IT industry nowadays.
2. Your motivation to complete this project ?
When I first started taking these classes, my curiosity grew. I'm interested in learning more about the AWS services. Who knows, it might come in handy for me in the near future.
3. Your opinion on whether getting the badge is easy or difficult ? Which module is the easiest/most difficult ?
Obtaining this badge, in my opinion, can be challenging at first because I must complete all of the classes that I have never learned before. But as time passed, I was able to learn and understand more about it. There are no easy or challenging modules for me; I thoroughly liked learning each and every one. Even though the lectures are quite difficult, we simply need to make them more engaging when it comes to learning.
4. What's a badge worth ?
The badge is a symbol of your dedication and commitment to master AWS's contents and design a system which will help companies grow.
5. Feedback whether getting the badge improve your knowledge and skills on Cloud Computing
Getting the badge actually improve my knowledge and skills on Cloud Computing. It had a significant impact on how I view technology and information systems. It required me to understand more about Cloud Computing and some of its applications. Furthermore, I was able to widen my current experiences and knowledge by taking this programme.
6. Your opinion on whether every company should shift to Cloud Computing ?
It is not necessary for every company to transition to Cloud Computing, but it is preferable in my opinion because the systems and infrastructure provided are extremely efficient and cost-effective. They can concentrate on growing their businesses because they already have a secure system in place and you shouldn't have to spend time and money on services which will not be required when switching to Cloud Computing.
7. Your opinion on whether every computer science/ UTM student should learn Cloud Computing (get the AWS badge) ?
As the UTM faculty has given the opportunity in learning this new information, I guess it is mandatory for every computer science students or any UTM students that are interested to learn new things about Cloud Computing. It is because it does not required a fee to complete all the modules, you just need to managed your time wisely then you can gain many useful knowledge by learning and completing this modules. Not only that, you can have a better understanding on what Cloud Computing really are.
8. Any advice to your friends who have not get the AWS badge yet ?
I would motivate them to achieve the AWS badge by helping them out if they did not understand some topics. Furthermore, despite their hectic schedule of assignments and assessments, students' efforts to complete the course are well worth it. I would tell them to take advantage of any opportunity that may expose them to new information, skills, or situations so that they are prepared to deal with a variety of unforeseen IT difficulties in the future.
9. What is your direction after completing the badge ?
Disvover and learn more about the information technology industry and complete my degree so that I could gain a years of knowledge over time and widen my employment opportunities in a specialized area.
10. Your opinion about getting the AWS badge that is included in SECP1513 subject
Obtaining the AWS badge as part of the SECP1513 subject is one opportunity for me to significantly expand my thinking and comprehension of my course. The completion of the AWS badge makes a big difference to me when I consider it to be the beginning of my studies path in the field of information technology, and I'm happy that I was able to complete the course in the given timeline to me.
