Report Activity No.2

1. Programme Information:
"Forum Bicara Inspirasi Bersama Tokoh UTM" took place on 30th June 2022 at Level 2 of the Library UTM Kuala Lumpur. This program was organized as part of the grand celebration of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia's (UTM) 50th anniversary. The event aimed to provide an insightful and inspiring dialogue with influential figures and leaders associated with UTM. It was a talk session that delved into important topics such as transformations in the higher education system, the challenges faced by UTM, and the remarkable achievements of the university. The panel featured two distinguished individuals, namely Dato' Seri Ir. Dr. Zaini Ujang and Prof. Datuk Ir. Dr. Hamisah Tapsir, who shared their invaluable insights and experiences with the attendees. The event was expertly organized by the Library UTM Kuala Lumpur, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all participants.

2. Graduate Attributes:
The program aimed to foster the development of graduate attributes among attendees, including critical thinking, communication skills, and engagement with influential figures in the field of higher education.

3. Position/Role in the Programme:
As the moderator of the event, your role was to facilitate the discussion, manage the flow of conversation, and ensure that the talking points were addressed. Additionally, you were responsible for engaging the panelists and the audience, creating a conducive environment for meaningful dialogue.

5. Self Reflection:
Moderating the event helped you become more calm and composed when presenting in front of others. You gained experience in handling various aspects of event management, such as timekeeping, engaging the audience, and guiding the conversation. Moreover, being part of the program allowed you to acquire new knowledge and insights from the panelists, further enriching your understanding of higher education and UTM's journey.
