SECP1513 TECHNOLOGY AND INFORMATION SYSTEM

INTRODUCTION

This is the page of my reflections for this subject.

CHAPTER 1

- This chapter talks about the software and the computer component that usually been used by everyone. This chapter tell us that software has 2 types which are system software and application software. The application software refers to the apps we used such as instagram, facebook and many more but the system software refers to system that can operate system to coordinate the resources and provide the interface.

ASSIGNMENT 1

From this assignment 1, me and my groupmates able to describe what is 4th IR and what is IoT. We manage to earn the knowledge from the industrial talk 1 and industrial talk 2. We also able to describe how the IoT works. The talk 1 from Telekom Malaysia also talk about the 5G technologies. So we able to gain many informations and able to finish this assignment.

Details

ASSIGNMENT 2

For this assignment 2 (NEWSLETTER), we need to attend the industrial talk 3 and talk 4. The industrial talk 3 shared about the Amazon Web Services(AWS) & Cloud computing. And the industrial talk 4 shared about the current trends of Augmented Reality(AR). From these 2 talk, my group manage to describe what is the cloud computing and others to complete this newsletter assignment. We manage to earn a lot of information from these 2 talk about the cloud computing, AWS and the Augmented Reality (AR) which are important nowadays.

Details

ASSIGNMENT 3

For this assignment 3, we need to create a magazine based on industrial talk 5 and 6. These two talk were about the smart campus attended by the Commscope Malaysia and the talk 6 were about the 5G and Wifi 6 network technologies emerging attended by Huawei. From these 2 talk, we manage to complete this magazine where we include what is smart campus, examples of smart campus, application of 5G in smart campus, the devices used by Commscope, what is 5G, what is Wifi 6 and many more. From these 2 talks also we manage to get a lot of information that could be used in the future.

ASSIGNMENT 4

In this assignment 4, my group have to describe what is data analytics, used of data analytics, examples of sectors that used data analytics, used of Microsoft Power BI, what is data visualization, uses of data visualization and many more. We as a group Afser, Kamil, Ryan, Vinodh and Me, manage to complete this assignment with full cooperation.

PROJECT 1

In this project one, we need to design a low-fidelity prototype where our group design an IoT Smart Plug. We found an issue where the hospital is out of workers to control all the plug in the hospital where a lot of patients. So we design a project where we gonna create a smart plug using IoT.

COURSE REFLECTION

Before I started this course, I never discover what is software really is, the computer components, and others. I always wondering what this course is really about. After I finished this this subject in this semester, I think I can managed to compare different type of computer components, software and many more. In this subject also, I learned about the 4th IR technologies such as Augmented Reality, Artificial Intelligence(AI) and IoT. Which I never heard what is 4th IR before. From these knowledge, me and my group mates managed to complete the assignments and project given in this subject assessment .

I also really thankful for this subject for arranging a lot of talks which talk many about the 4th IR , cloud computing system and many more which those talks were presented by some big companies and big people. These talks gave me and my friends a lot of new knowledge and keep on improving day by day. We also manage to get some knowledge about 5G services from Telekom Malaysia (TM).

Lastly, I would like to thank you my lecturer Mr Hairudin for teaching us and deliver the knowledge to us. He always reminding us about the assessments we need to do and explain it to us. I also want to thank my groupmates, Afser, Ryan, Kamil and Vinodh. They always help me to survive in this subject and also give their full cooperation and commitment while doing the assessments.
