Mini Report

As a participant of this Construction Technology Poster Day 2022, this mini report highlights the justification for joining this program as a participant and the focused Graduate Attributes, and provides an overview of the planned content for the event. This program was a collaboration between third year undergraduate students from Faculty of Civil Engineering and Persatuan Kejuruteraan Awam(PEKA). 
 
On 16/12/2022, this program was participate by a lot of groups. The activity that been organized throughout the program by having the third year students presenting their posters in their classes. As a participant that coming to the program, I can see that all of the groups members of each groups giving their best to win the competition, winning awards and others. 
 
This Construction Technology Poster Day 2022 aim was to deepen the students general knowledge of Construction Technology, Estimating & Contract meanwhile letting the students of civil engineering getting great chemistry and creating bond with each other. For me as a participant that coming to their exhibition, I can see that this program can develop many graduate attributes among the students or participants such as communication skills, thinking skills also leadership and teamworking skills.

Self Reflection

This Construction Technology Poster Day 2022 have been a success for the organizer. Me as a participant of this program pretty sure that all of the students and participant no matter the are joining the competition or not, they gained a lot of information and knowledge from the exhibition that has been done. 

 

In addition, this program promoted a lot of graduate attributes to all the participants. Firstly is communication skills, where we can learn how to communicate with other people such as judges, lecturer, visitors and others. From this program, I can see that all the students developed their communication ways in a correct ways.

 

Secondly, thinking skills where all the participants need to think ways to make their poster full of information and interesting to win the competition. All of the participants need to think critically to finish their poster project. Lastly leadership and teamworking skill, where all the groups that participated in the competition need to have a leader and work together as a team. This somehow teach me how to work as a team in any programs or works. 

 

In a nutshell, this program has taught me a lot of skills and give me a lot of great informations and knowledge for future use.
